* TIDES... HIGHEST TIDES FRIDAY: 7.0 FT AT 730 AM FRIDAY.

* IMPACTS... BEACH EROSION... VERY STRONG RIP CURRENTS... COASTAL FLOODING DURING HIGH TIDE... AND DAMAGE TO COASTAL STRUCTURES ARE ALL POSSIBLE.

A HIGH SURF WARNING INDICATES THAT DANGEROUS... BATTERING WAVES WILL POUND THE SHORELINE. THIS WILL RESULT IN VERY DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS... AND POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO COASTAL STRUCTURES.

.A LARGE WEST NORTHWEST SWELL WILL PEAK TODAY. OCCASIONAL SURF SETS OF 10 TO 15 FEET ARE EXPECTED. THE SWELL AND SURF WILL SUBSIDE TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY. THIS KIND OF SURF IS CAPABLE OF DAMAGING COASTAL STRUCTURES AS WELL AS PRODUCING COASTAL FLOODING AND BEACH EROSION.
